What is a forum?

A forum is an online meeting place for open discussion of various topics. Forums are often referred to as a bulletin board or discussion area. This forums can be be added to your site in any of our member packages.

How to Post & Respond in forum

To post a new question to Vidatec

1) Go to the forum and topic area most appropriate to your question
2) Click the New Thread button and write your entry
3) Click Preview to check your entry
4) Click Submit to publish

To reply or respond to a question inVidatec

1) Go to the entry you wish to respond to
2) Click the Quick Reply button to add a simple text reply
3) Click the Reply button to add a reply containing formatting
4) Click Preview to check your entry
5) Click Submit to publish

How to use "My Profile"

First to see your profile click on the My Profile Button, now we will take a look to each menu on the right hand side of your screen.

Personal Info:

Summary: This is the summary of everything in your profile this is what other members will see when they click on your profile name.

Edit Your Details: In this section you will be able to make changes to your name, email, and password. Just type the changes on any of the fields and click on the save botton to save your changes.

My Avatar: Let's answer the Question first

Now This is where you can select your avantar from our default gallery or upload an image of you own. It can be a picture of yourself or any image that you like. It is similar to the profile images in your My Space or FaceBook accounts. Remember we recomend your image to be no bigger than 250 X 250 Pixels.

What is boardcode?

Boardcodes are special tags that will allow you to format your messages. Currently, fireboard supports links, bold, italic, bold, "quoted" text, img, size, list and colored text.
The tags are used as follows:
