New update includes Video, Facebook®-connect, Wall Comments & more!
1. VIDEO: Passion Culture now has built-in VIDEO posting capabilities--you can upload videos directly to the community or embed videos from 3rd party video sharing sites--such as Youtube, Vimeo, Blip.tv, MySpace videos and more!
2. FACEBOOK CONNECT: To make the registration process hassle-free at your community, we've introduced the new Facebook-Connect login-module in Passion Culture Community so you can log-in to your the community using your Facebook account details. Profile pics, status updates & more are “pulled in" safely & securely from Facebook, making it easy for new and exisiting users to sign up and stay logged into your community.
3. WALL COMMENTS: You can now comment on your friends' wall posts, just like Facebook® and other popular social networks! In previous versions, users could post to walls, but comments about wall posts were treated as separate posts. Not anymore...In Passion Culture Community, your wall posts and their respective comments will all be on the same line, which makes it easier for you and your visitors to keep track of discussions as they unfold on your wall.
4. MYBLOG Integration: Members can have their very own blogs, post entries directly from their profile pages, and share those blog posts with friends via the New MyBlog/Communty plugin. Additionally, members' blog posts will now show up in your community's Activity Stream; Community Avatar support is included, and each member can accumulate "user points" with every blog post they make!
